The island of Maui boasts, wihtout a doubt, some of the most fantastic snorkeling spots in the world. So it’s really hard to say a few specific spots, but I did my best compiling a list of the top locations:

1. Molokini Crater

Note: This spot is only accessible by boat, however, it is a world-famous scuba diving and snorkeling spot that is well worth it (unless you get seasick).

Located between the islands of Maui and Kahoolawe, the crescent-shaped Molokini Crater is a truly unique and world-famous snorkeling destination. With crystal clear waters and an average visibility of 150 feet, Molokini Crater attracts both snorkelers and scuba divers (that’s why it’s also on my list of the best scuba diving in Maui).
